Best Coast = Best Shoegaze

The fact that the band Best Coast have written a song called California Nights (also the title track of their just announced upcoming new album) that is about being on drugs in California should come as a surprise to uh..... pretty much NO ONE. However, the fact that this track is also a pretty awesome SHOEGAZE song should. I am feeling it, and also the video (below) which is pretty much just being in the desert and on drugs. Because... California. Best. 

California Nights will be out May 5th on Harvest Records and the band play in SF tonight at Bottom of the Hill for Noise Pop.
