Fear of Men & Pains of Being Pure At Heart played the Independent
If I was going to ever front my own wistful dream pop band, I would probably want it to be something pretty much exactly like Fear of Men. Pale blue guitars, british accents, art students with bangs, melancholy jams set to sway-ey Smiths-esque sounds, black dresses and tights, nerdy dude bass player - there is nothing not to heart here and heart them I did at their show at the Independent last night opening for my Brooklyn noisey pop darlings the Pains of Being Pure at Heart.
They just released their debut LP Loom - two tracks are featured below. HEART AWAY.
