Fear of Men & Pains of Being Pure At Heart played the Independent

fearofmen

If I was going to ever front my own wistful dream pop band, I would probably want it to be something pretty much exactly like Fear of Men. Pale blue guitars, british accents, art students with bangs, melancholy jams set to sway-ey Smiths-esque sounds, black dresses and tights, nerdy dude bass player - there is nothing not to heart here and heart them I did at their show at the Independent last night opening for my Brooklyn noisey pop darlings the Pains of Being Pure at Heart.

They just released their debut LP Loom - two tracks are featured below. HEART AWAY.

The track is taken from the forthcoming debut album, 'Loom' released by Kanine Records on the 21st April in the UK, 22nd in the US, on CD, Digital and Vinyl formats. A limited deluxe two coloured vinyl edition of 'Loom' will be released on Record Store Day, April 19th. Pre order the album at www.fearofmen.co.uk Release shows: 15th April- Dome Studio Theatre, Brighton 16th April- Birthdays, London 18th April- Brooklyn Bazaar, New York

'Alta' and 'Waterfall', taken from the forthcoming debut album, 'Loom'. Released by Kanine Records on the 21st April in the UK, 22nd in the US, on CD, Digital and Vinyl formats.
