Royal Canoe: New Single 'Bathtubs' & upcoming album!
When I booked Royal Canoe to play at my CMJ showcase last year I didn't really know anything about them, and boy was I surprised and impressed when the Canadian six-piece loaded in more gear that I honestly believe the upstairs room at Pianos has ever seen. Hearing their multi-layered experimental tracks, however, and you understand why - backing tracks be damned - they need ALL of that gear to make all of that rich and innovative magic.
